What happens after I get a booking?

You have a binding contract with the guest. The agreement and contract is now between you and the guest only. You are responsible for taking payments and deposits, ensuring the property is available and in good repair, cleaning after the guest, and paying taxes.

Do I pay taxes?

Yes. You are responsible for charging and collecting the appropriate taxes. VRguest has a place for you to add your tax basis to the booking so it is collected. You are responsible for paying those taxes to the correct governing body.

Will I get a 1099 or 1042S?

No. VR Guest does not collect any money on your behalf and so does not report any income.
