Utah 2015

We, 3 couples, enjoyed this unit very much. The location is very good. You can ski in/ ski-out to Snowbird easily, ski in from Alta, if you are a good skier. The shuttle service to/and from Alta is excellent, and almost will pick you up at the garage. The unit itself was well equipped, comfortable and there was plenty of rooms, shower's, and space for 3 couples. Best of all was the views of the beautiful mountains from inside the condo.Looking out you felt you were in the wilderness. We love it!

Great condo

Very comfortable condo with an excellent location halfway between Alta and Snowbird. Perfect for a family of five, such as ours, but very comfortable for six. Well equipped with large flat screen TV, surround sound etc. Wood burning fireplace is a big plus, as is the ample supply of wood that is provided. Our teenage boys enjoyed the pool table in the upstairs loft. Four person hot tub was a real treat after a hard day of skiing. Easy 3 minute shuttle ride to Alta, which we summoned via driver cell phone. Skiing to Snowbird requires a two minute walk to a ski path which runs down to the Cliff Lodge and Snowbird Center. You can ski back from Alta (advanced/intermediate skiers only). If the left side of Snowbird is open, you can also ski back from there (it was closed during our visit). Most likely a return shuttle from Snowbird Center. Canyon Services was very helpful and professional. We would definitely stay here again.

Warm and inviting condo

This is the second time we stayed in the same condo at the Village at Sugarplum. It's a very homey-feeling condo, with lots of space to be together with friends, or be alone away from the crowds. The three br/4bathroom condo fit the needs of the 7 of us staying in the condo - without getting on each other's nerves. All the amenities of your home (especially the well equipped kitchen), wonderful helpful staff (who helped us dig out of our condo and dig our car out of the snow on more than one occasion) who were there to help with the smallest request. We had a bar-b-que grill last time, that wasn't there this time - it would have been nice to have. Nevertheless, the next time we come back to Snowbird, we'll rent the same condo again!

Comfortable, roomy, luxury accommodations, wi-fi, hot tub, pool

The check in was easy and the condo was clean and well furnished with good technology in wi-fi, 3 flat screen tv's, blu-ray player, surround sound, with a hot tub in the bottom floor. We all had separate bathrooms, a nicely furnished kitchen. The parking and garage for our suburban was just right. Nicely managed condo.

Gret location and great skiing

The house is located between Snowbird and alta. Ski in/out to SB and free shuttle (and ski in) to alta. Nice house, pool table, surround sound and hot tub a plus. Kitchen is well stocked. Canyon Services very responsive. Great spot to be if you just want to ski and don't need the nightlife of Park City

Attention to the guest by Canyon Services

The Unit itself was very nice, though we've had better at Sugarplum. The real "five stars" go to Canyon Services for accommodating us for early arrival, late departure, valet shopping and many other things.

Excellent but expensive house for skiing

Village at Sugarplum Unit 3 is a great house, comfortable for 4-6. The hot tub stands out as excellent in its own room with big windows that you can open; the pool table was also a plus. The alta shuttle is very convenient, about 30 feet from the door, coming frequently (every 15 minutes but it's better to just call it ahead of time) and very fast (less than 5 minutes) to get to the Wildcat alta base. Downsides were: the ski/in out is not perfect, and is actually a short (2 minute) walk; very expensive as compared to places in Salt Lake City; slow/inconsistent satellite internet. Overall, however, it is an excellent vacation house with excellent amenities and access to two of the best ski resorts (for experts) in the world.
